Prior to this past Saturday’s WWE live event in New Delhi, India, RAW World Tag-Team Champions The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) spoke with Akhilesh Gannavarapu of WrestlingINC.com for an interview. Below are some of the highlights.

On what he thinks so far of being in a tag-team alongside Cesaro:

Sheamus: “If only I had a time machine, fella! If only I had a time machine. It’s been incredible. I’ve said this before – it is the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire career. I’ve held a lot of championships, but to me, this is just about the team that we’ve created and bonded over the last year. It has been just incredible, having the match of the night after match of the night, after match of the night. As I said, it’s a great feeling to walk out there, with so much… with such a great talent and a tag team partner.”

On what they think of their chemistry as a tag-team:

Sheamus: “Um, I don’t think… I honestly don’t know where we’re supposed to fit in, or if it was supposed to be or what the plan was, but we made it work.”

Cesaro: “Yeah, we always do, and that’s just what the people like. What you see is what you get, and that’s us all the time. We’re like brothers.”

On Cesaro saying he’d be willing to move to SmackDown Live and their thoughts on that never happening:

Cesaro: “Oh yeah, no no…” (Cesaro and Sheamus laugh)

Cesaro: “That’s what I said, and that’s what I thought at that time. But the thing is, I always said and I always thought in my mind that I’m going to make RAW my show.”

Sheamus: “Bullet dodged!… Your show?”

Cesaro: “He (Sheamus) had the same thought. He was frustrated.”

Sheamus: “I’m still frustrated!”

Cesaro: “And he felt the same thing. Also, we became a team, and now look at us! We’re always… we’re the best thing on RAW.”

Sheamus: “We’re wearing the same branded shirts and all!”

Cesaro: “Yeah, same branded shirts, we always work out, and we’re the tag team champions! So, yes, SmackDown is in the rear – view mirror.”

Sheamus: “It’s the B – show!”

On what their goals are for the future now that they’ve captured the RAW World Tag-Team Championship

Cesaro: “What’s next for us? Being the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time. Best tag team in the world, and taking these tag team titles all over the world.”
